Download Kululu from the App Store and create a free parent account with your email address or Sign in with Apple. Then add your child's first name (or a nickname) and age, choose their animal, and you're ready to play.

Before settings, purchases or anything that leaves the app, Kululu asks a simple sum, such as "What is 8 + 7?". It's easy for grown-ups and keeps little fingers out of places they shouldn't go. If you get it wrong, you'll get a new sum to try.

Tap the grey gear on the home screen, answer the grown-up check, and open the Parent Area. From there you can add up to 6 children, or tap a child to change their name, age or animal. Their activities adjust to the new age straight away.

Yes. Sign in with the same parent account on each device. Your children and their stars are saved to your account, so they follow them to every device.

Check the volume buttons and that the device isn't in silent mode (on iPhone, the switch or Action button on the side). If you're using headphones or a Bluetooth speaker, make sure it's connected. Then close Kululu completely and open it again.

Kululu needs permission to use the microphone and speech recognition for these games. Go to Settings › Kululu on your device and turn on Microphone and Speech Recognition. Listening happens in the moment; we don't record or keep your child's voice.

Colours, Numbers and Kululu's first story are free forever. Kululu Premium unlocks every activity, story and adventure for every child in your family. You can choose weekly, monthly or yearly, and new subscribers can get their first month at a special price.

Subscriptions are managed by Apple. On your iPhone or iPad, open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, choose Kululu and tap Cancel Subscription. Cancel at least 24 hours before your renewal date to avoid the next charge. You keep Premium until the end of the period you've paid for.

Deleting the app or your Kululu account does not cancel an App Store subscription, so please cancel it in Settings too.

Go to Settings › your name › Subscriptions › Kululu and pick a different option. Apple applies the change at your next renewal, or straight away for some changes, and shows you which before you confirm.

Open the Parent Area and tap Restore purchases. Make sure you're signed in to the same Apple Account you used to subscribe. If it's still locked, email us with the date of purchase and we'll help.

Because payments go through Apple, refunds are handled by Apple too. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in, find Kululu and choose "Request a refund". Your rights under consumer protection law are not affected.

With Kululu Premium, you can turn this on in the Parent Area so Kululu greets your child by name in stories and games. To record the greeting, your child's first name is sent securely to our voice service. When it's off, Kululu says "little one" instead, and turning it off removes the recordings from your device.

A family circle links your family with people you trust, like cousins or grandparents. A parent creates a circle in the Parent Area and shares its invite code. Children in the circle see each other's first names and weekly stars, and can send each other a small set of spoken sticker cheers. There's no typing, messaging, photos or contact with anyone outside the circle. Only share codes with people you know.

Tap Play Together on the home screen, choose who's playing and how: take turns on one device, play on two devices at home on the same Wi-Fi, or play with family far away over a FaceTime call using SharePlay.

Only their first name (or a nickname), age, chosen animal and learning progress. There are no ads and no third-party tracking. Our privacy policy explains everything in plain language.

Open the Parent Area, scroll to Account and tap Delete account. This permanently deletes your account, your children's profiles and progress, your family circle memberships and your name-voice links. It can't be undone. Remember to cancel any App Store subscription separately.

If you can't access the app, email support@kululu.kids from the address on your account and we'll delete it for you.
